I agree 100% with Vladislaus Dracula on this matter. Most stuff, I'm pretty easygoing on, and tend to be pretty silly and downright childish myself at times. BUT, I'm over 40 y.o., and am part of an ADULT forum. I don't want kids around here. I understand that they have legitimate tickling desires and fetishes, just like me. After all, I have had mine my entire life. It's just that, legally speaking, they shouldn't be here, for my sake and theirs.

Teens are generally doing things their age would not allow them to anyways, like drinking and smoking and making life-changing commitments they're generally not ready for, like marriage and children. If they want to look at porn and join pornographic websites, theres really nothing we can do to discern their actual age. The luxury of being anonymous is well used by many people.

So while I thank you for agreeing with me, and I like that you point out the legal ramfications of them being here and being founded out, and how that doesn't just affect them, I am willing to admit little to nothing can be done since niether you nor I can prove we're who we say we are.

I really am 24, and people will just have to take my word on that; you're over 40 and people will just have to do the same.

I understood his opening post as shorthand for the set phrase "Is it just me, or ... ?" which is an established colloquialism for "Is it just my observation, or ... ?" I felt that he was pointing out that many members appear to be young teens, based on their posting styles and personal interests.

I think that Ftmench meant "Is it just my opinion ... ?" rather than identifying himself as underage. We take every precaution to protect the forum as best we can, but ultimately, parents need to take some responsibilty by using appropriate filtering software and monitoring their children's Internet use. Many ISP's offer free filtering software to parents.
