"Just My Luck" Really BAD movie

Have any other forum members seen the new Lindsay Lohan movie, "Just My Luck"? I took my mom out for Mother's Day today. She wanted to see this movie, so we went. Honestly, while Ms Lindsay Lohan has always been one of my favorite female actresses, "Just My Luck", has to rank as one of the top five worst movies I have ever seen.
The movie is basically based upon the premise of Lindsay's luck changing as a result of a kiss. The movie could have been done in a more entertaining way, but it turned out to be slapstick, disjointed, and downright stupid.
If anyone else has seen this movie, I would be very interested to hear your opinions. If you haven't seen it, trust me, wait until it comes out on DVD or cable, and don't bother going to the theater. With as many movies as I see, I often times see mediocre movies, and havent posted about them. As this one was so bad, I just wanted to inform, and warn, the forum about the movie being awful.

I haven't seen it, but did see the trailer last week before another film. It was clear from the trailer that it was slapstick fluff.

Yes, milagros. I have seen some movies, that are partially slapstick, which turn out to be at least decent, because they have other good parts. This one was just completely stupid from start to finish. It will be very interesting to see how this stinker does at the box office.

Just from the trailer on TV, I could see that I wouldn't see this movie if Ed McMahon came to my door with a check for my doing so.

Mitch, if you wanna see her feet, just go to the news stand and pick up any number of 'People' type magazines...no shortage of coverage on that subject!

Knox, I actually have liked Lindsay as an actress for a while. I really went to see the movie. I didnt go just for the feet. Unfortunately, the movie sucked.
Isabeau, when we go to see a bad movie, my mom does one thing. She falls assleep, and she hated this one so much, that she slept through about 80% of it. I will occasionally sleep through a very bad movie as well, but stayed up during this one, to see if it would get any better, which it didnt.

Sad part is, several people have said she reminds them of Lucille Ball. Lucille Ball was a better comedienne. She has had some cute roles though.

Yes, she has had some cute roles. This movie wasnt bad because of her acting, it was just a poorly done movie with a bad script.

From the previews I saw, it just looks like more 13 year old standard fodder.

BUT......I think I rather sit thru "Just My Luck" than that excruciating, two and half hour torture session they titled "The Matrix-Reloaded". (ten minute, slow-motion, dance sequence, anyone?)

Drew, I didnt even see the Matrix Reloaded, but I see your point. As I mentioned previously, I usually dont mind sitting through a movie which might be silly in parts, but can still be entertaining. This one wasnt even entertaining at all, it was downright bad.
Oh, and Kust, you are most welcome about the heads up. Hopefully, the forum members will read this thread, or learn through some other medium, and not waste their money like I did on this bomb of a movie.

Thanks, Dario. It happens. I go to see many movies, and sometimes you just hit a bad one. What can you do?
