Gday. I hear about some of the video producers on this site asking their friends to be in tickling videos they make. I tried imagining asking one of my friends to do this...couldn't see it happening somehow!

So I'm really addressing this question to those video producers who ask their friends to be in videos. I'm just curious, how on earth do you do that? What exactly do you say? I'm don't make videos or anything, so I'm not asking this to get advice...it just amazes me that someone could ask a friend to do that and not get a really awkward pause and a "Oh my god no! That's sick!" sort of answer...so I assume there's some secret to it!

I think tickling producers either have the type of friends who are open minded in terms of such things (it seems most people that are heavily involved in such bdsm and fetish activities have many like-minded friends) or they are very open about what they do so when asking someone to be in a video, it doesn't come off as shocking as you may think.

Did that make any sense? I hope so lol.

Well if you compare the ratio of members who have actually been able to capture a video that involves tickling a friend or acquaintance to those who haven't..it's a pretty bias ratio. 🙂

I've actually been lucky enough to have a friend of mine agree to be tied and tickled on film, (see: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=100995) so maybe I can offer some advice.

First, like anything else, decide what kind of personality this person has. If they are a total tight-ass and hard to talk to, then they probably won't get past the initial 'that's a weird idea' stage. I decided to ask the girl that I did because I know she's not close-minded and also she's been known to have been crazy at times.

I approached the situation as if I was discussing an idea that was just as foreign to me as it was to her. I sort of joked with the idea and even discussed how funny the concept of a 'tickling' fetish is. First, I told her that I found about the fetish through internet forums, and discussed how I observed that there is a growing community but not enough material circulating and the general lack of video producers who have given the subject much attention. I said this to gauge her reaction on the idea. After I felt comfortable that she wouldn't totally disregard what I was talking about, I told her how after awhile it began to appeal to me more and that I was really into tickling!

Just talk about it like it's a fun or wild idea rather then anticipating the person to dismiss the idea as strange or creepy, and I think you will have good luck with someone out there.
