I'm moving this post/poll up again because I'd like some more feedback (please). The reason I started doing polls is to try and generate a dialog about tickle torture (TT) from a different perspective...namely mine. I know we all have slightly different variations on what turns us on about TT. From the extreme TT that Government Agents use against each other (imagine if they really did! RRrrraaarrghhhhh!!!!) to just playing with your lover there are over 48,000 variations in between. The problem is we seem to hear from the same 5, 9 or 12 (wonderful) individuals over and over and, although I appreciate the way they keep the board going, I think they need some help once in a while. (and I do admire and respect what they do very much) So, I had hoped a poll might get something different going.

The good thing about a poll is it's anonymous so there's no pressure. The bad thing about a poll is that it's anonymous so you have no idea what others are REALLY thinking. It would be so very cool if you would take the poll and come back here and tell us what you think. Maybe we would have a spirited discussion about how we like to TT (or be TT'd ...that is the question) someone.

What would you do in the "Haunted Museum"? What do you like about tickling? Is there any angle i missed in my questions?

Should I just shut up and leave you guys alone?

One thing I didn't expect to see

It surprised me to see "Seeing tickling in the media" as the top answer to the question, "How did you get into tickling?" I would have thought my answer - "Getting tickled when I was a kid" would have been the top vote-getter.

Another surprise: nearly 25% of the paticipants are women! Cool. I would have thought the male dominance was even greater.

I wonder how the results break down in the male and female categories. Can you give the top answers by gender?😕

Hmmmm.....too bad there wasn't the option for multiple answers. The one about frequency of tickling would have been often on both sides rahter than just one. Other than that, not a bad poll.

Like Mil, I also knew VERY early.
In fact my first memory in general is of me being 3 and under a table tickling my aunts feet. And loving every minute of it...it was just fun then. Now its fun and MORE 🙂

Cool poll. I came into it between 11-16, and well found the rest and the results neat, though I agree with Ann on the last point.

Thanks to all of you for your feedback. This is exactly what I was hoping for in order to do better polls in the future. Ann your point is well taken. In the context of doing this poll (only the second I've ever done) I realized that there are many ambiguities (sic) that need to be ironed out. That's why, on almost every question, I put in a request to go to the comments section and tell us what the you, the poll taker, would answer diffferently than what I put. (it's virtually impossible to have every conceivable variation of answer) But, alas, nobody has responded. taht's why I went to all of you. To try and get a dialog about what I had come up with and to suggest other ideas.
