Killing Pop Ups

Since no one seems to really read the Technical Assistance Section of the forum....

How do I get rid of those annoying messager service pop ups?

I am getting endless pop ups and they are getting on my nerves.

Most of them say, "Aren't you tired of these annoying pop ups? Go to www.stoppopups.com"

PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY GETTING ON MY NERVESSSSSSSS!

I've used it for 3 years now.

Does it kill pop up ads and messenging ads?

I Use The ..

Free version. So far it's never let a pop up through regardless of the source.

It's easy to use too.

Just click the Icon,
It will then put a little red or grey X on your tool bar.
When youb want to activate it click it until the X turns red.
When it kills a popup it flashes a bit

When you want to deactivate it click the X until it turns grey.

Keep in mind.
If you want to open a second window you must deactivate
Open the window.
Then reactivate it.

I've found it to be a great tool and I have never upgraded it.

If these are Microsoft Messenger pop-ups, you need to disable them in your control panel. In Windows XP go to control panel>performance and maintenance>administrative tools>services, then scroll down to messenger and double click it. Select "disable" from the Startup Type menu.
