I have a science artikle on tickling and it explains that vocabulary.

Knismesis: The light tickling sensation that would warn the skins owner of a potentially dangerous insect.

Gargalisis: The harder tickling sensation that causes spazmatic laughter.

Dr. Bill, you're mistaken. Gargalisis never fought Mothra. Gargalisis is the guy who tormented the poor little smurfs.

Hold it, I might be wrong.

It's either that guy who hated the smurfs, or it's a medical condition for bad breath. I get them confused.

Gargamel or Gargalisis

I thought the Smurf Nemesis' name was Gargamel (with the evil cat Azrel), or perhaps that's the Swedish translation (read them in Swedish as a kid... yup, I'm Swedish)... Is the English name for that ole bastard Gargalisis, then I think Peyo had some hidden agenda (but he's French?)
