Saw the initial report from TMZ, and I was totally in denial. Then while I, like everyone else, was waiting to hear if more outlets would confirm, I saw someone point out that while we should wait for more confirmation, it's worth mentioning that TMZ broke the news of Michael Jacksons death before anyone else did. Still, despite remembering that, I was still in denial. Even when after TMZ broke the news, I saw news of a helicopter crash that matched the location from TMZs report, I thought that it was gonna end up being that TMZ just some bad info about the crash. What finally convinced me was when ESPNs Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that Kobe was one of the victims. If you follow NBA news, Wojnarowski ain't gonna something out if he ain't 100% certain.
This is certainly one of those "Do you remember where you were when?" moments.
