maniac has a point. While I see your point, my friend. I still thing Sterling's remarks are hateful, and that the punishment given to him was justified.

Oh please, Sterling is getting what he deserved. If you are in a position of power, especially for a league that is dominated by a certain minority, YOU DO NOT MAKE RACIST STATEMENTS. The league is trying to showcase the best athletes and it's multicultural employees. If Sterling was a regular Joe-blow fan, his comments would have been laughed off.

Maniac, i GUARANTEE, that if President Obama made some remarks like that regarding any other color, you would be on your soapbox till the cows come home saying he should be impeached. You definitely would not be saying, "It's his opinion. He has the 1st amendement to say whatever he wants...."

That's odd, I never heard any minority CEO, politician, coach, etc say things about whites before in the media. Enlighten me. Name one.... A prominent minority in an actual position of power, when have they said racial things and NOT get reprimanded, punished etc....
