Thanks to those who've helped with some responses here in my absence. There are two things that I'll be clearing up in the next couple of days.
First, the hotel IS set and did not give us a code number for the group. So, you need to talk to the desk there rather than calling the 800 number. Also, please be sure to drop me a note once you've made your reservations so that we know when we need to tack on more rooms.
Second, AFA folks who haven't heard from us. Until the moment I left on Wednesday morning, everyone had gotten at least one response from us. However, I've heard from a few people now who seem to not have recieved the communications I sent. This is the second round of this. The only thing I can figure out is that the CC & BCC feature on my e-mail is dropping some people for some reason. I plan to go through our entire list on Monday and write to everyone individually to let you all know what your current status is. That way, anyone who did not get their initial/last correspondence should get that one and know where they stand. My apologies for any inconvenience.
So, where was I the last few days? Well, Max and I were brainstorming some more fun ideas for NEST and double-checking the hotel and other things to be sure that everything will be as perfect and enjoyable as possible for all of us. Things are looking really good. We're all getting excited. Be sure to watch for other posts about some of the goodies we've come up with for this year! There's a LOT in the works!
Also, a heads up for those who generally plan to travel home on Sunday after the main event. We're planning to try going a bit later with things this year, probably ending around 8pm on Sunday. Of course, you're always welcome to leave early if you must. But, we'd hate to see you miss even a minute of the fun. So, if it makes a difference in what you need to line up for childcare or pet care, we wanted to give you that information now. This way, you can plan accordingly.
