Is it just me, or does anyone else feel they always portray foot fetishism in a negative light? They have to make it so sick that the guy is severing feet because of his fetish? Does it irritate anyone else to be put in the "absolute f**king weirdo" category?

It is not just you. I was very angry that, once again, a foot fetishist was portrayed in a mainstream show as both mentally ill and dangerous.
😡 😡
Warning: rest of post has nothing to do with feet or tickling.
It reminded me of Tom Lehrer's song, "I Hold Your Hand in Mine." For those of you not young enough to remember Lehrer's work, which enjoyed some popularity from the 1950's to the 1970's, he was a mathematician from Harvard who also was a pianist, and wrote humorous parody songs, which he performed. Here are the lyrics to this song, as best I can recall:
I hold your hand in mine, dear,
I press it to my lips.
I take a healthy bite from
Your dainty fingertips.
My joy would be complete, dear,
If only you were here,
But still, I have your hand,
As a precious souvenir.
The night you died I cut it off,
I really don't know why.
For now each time I kiss it,
I get bloodstains on my tie.
I'm sorry that I killed you,
For our love was something fine.
Until they come to get me,
I shall hold your hand in mine.
Tom Lehrer's song is definitely sick, as was the L&O episode. But then, not being a hand fetishist, I didn't take it personally.

My memory was not too bad. The exact lyrics (as well as the lyrics to his other songs) can be found here:

My personal favorite is "National Brotherhood Week."
Alexander: As a math major, you might enjoy "There's a Delta for Every Epsilon."
