Leaving the TMF.....

I fear that I must now send a resignation into the TMF, and at the same time...reveal something...if anything to prove a point.

I am actually a simple, everyday 15 year old..and I await my names banning with haste Myraids...if this post may just remain up until it is pushed back down to the bottom, as a temporary tombstone.

You have all taught me much, and in the future if the TMF is still around, I plan to return. At the same time, I have proven that a teen can survive among all of you, as one of your own. Heh, ironic that I seem smarter than some inconsiderate people on here...who always push the "holier than thou" act...although I won't be pointing any fingers...

I leave because I really do not wish to continue the charade. I feel ashamed having to lie to some people i've become quite good friends with.

May we meet again in the future.

I think this all down to the 'got big problem with minor' thread isn't it? It's a shame, because the last post in that thread at the moment is a very intelligent post by you. 🙁

I am sure, reasonably sure at least, that the TMF will be around when you are 18. Your honesty is commendable. Nobody would have known if you did not make the admission. In any group, whether it be here or in other venues, there is no way to verify anyones age. The question is asked, "are you 18" you click yes and you are in. Unless there is a scanner for personal Id's where you slide your id through the scanner and if you are 18 or over, you are permitted to continue if not you are locked out of that particular site you are attemting to access. Those are the trials and tribulations of the internet and how it is here.
Myst, for now, you are not locked out of tickle sites! Yahoo groups have a few that are specifically for under 18's (teens). You may want to hang there for now so you at least have somewhere to go where you are accepted with open arms.

You really didn't have to "OUT" yourself here but you did with class and honesty and it shows some character. We'll be here when you return. Have fun and keep tickling!

But I commend your honesty. i read the minors thread and I for one would have gone apeshit had a minor been allowed access here. I also liked most of the replies.

It's real cool that you would come out and say something like this but in my opinion I don't see the big deal for you to stay. This place is no worse then a rated R movie or watching MTV or the Howard Stern show but due to legality problems and our silly government I can understand why we can not have minors on the board. Best wishes to you! I think that's good advice mentioned by one of the other members. Go on Yahoo and stuff there are tons of Teen Sites, if you want you can email me and I'll be happy to share some old links I had from when I was a teen myself (which wasn't all that long ago) Good Luck and I'm sure TMF will be here in 3 years. It damn well better be! lol
