Lees preference: receiving foot tickling barefoot ?

I’ve met a few people from TMF and I have some other tickle session partners I’ve met through friends. I’ve had many tickle sessions over the years, both with TMF veterans and tickle newbies I met through friends. What surprises me is the number of lees I’ve met that prefer receiving foot tickling on bare feet. I’ve been surprised the lee having bare feet seems to be the norm for sessions I’ve been a part of.

During the pre-session discussions when we talk about expectations, clothing, comfort level and overall goals, other options (besides bare) for foot tickling never even came up. Ha ha. I guess that’s normal. Not good or bad, just an observation. Who am I to say no to that of the lee wants to receive tickling barefoot?

Is this the norm for other folks here as well, or do you have different experiences?

Do they give any reasons why? Just wondering if they're trying to avoid being tickled in nylons because they know it makes it worse for them. 😏

Who would want to get tickled with socks on? i would think thats a tiny percentage.

I guess I'm a little confused about what the assumed alternatives are and why bare feet as a lee's preference is so surprising. My experience has been about the same, though I think I'd be surprised and almost confused if a lee wanted to wear socks for example. I'd certainly entertain it, but I'd not have expected it for sure. Are you referring to bare feet as opposed to primarily nylons? In that case I can see why some might think that'd be very often preferred by lees, since for many it can be more intense. But I've known some where it actually reduced their ticklishness (though very few). And some surprisingly hadn't heard that it was even a thing. But mostly, I think the majority of lees prefer the bare feet because it's a more intimate physical contact with nothing in between. And when they think of how sensitive their feet are, it's the first place their mind goes–to the tender vulnerability of their naked feet. Much less of them have an extra kink dimension for feet, nylons, socks, etc, whereas many more lers have a foot, sock, or nylon fetish. This is just in part a guess, and I'm sure all lees have their own individual reasons. I know when I'm being tickled, I prefer the direct contact with the skin.

Personally, I think evolution has a lot to do with the preferences today. I've been into tickling for over 65 years and a lot has changed since I started. One example is nylons. Back in the early days, ladies almost always wore nylons! Now a days, hardly ever! And socks? To me they have always just been a barrier to ticklish feet! While I do love tickling bare feet, something about the feel of tickling feet in nylons has always attracted me.
