Thankfully, Ross's headaches, which had been intolerable especially at night, were coming to a point, where he did not feel completely ill during the night.
However, Ross, Fritz, and Steve still agreed that they wanted a lawyer to examine the situation with RFS Canada.
Ross went so far as to get a letter from his Doctors, to send to John Fish. The letter said that for the time being, Ross had to take it easy, until he could deal with getting the right medication for his headaches.
Of course, for Fritz, Steve, and especially Ross, such was a "smokescreen" to keep things calm with Fish, for both the sake of Ross's health, and to examine the exact financial condition of RFS Canada, without Fish knowing exactly what was going on.
Fish reluctantly agreed, knowing Ross's ongoing problems with Ross's headaches. The examination of RFS Canada began, but, as was not surprising about an examination of a large company, it would take time, and Ross, Fritz, and Steve would have to be patient before any answers were really conclusive about the status and condition of RFS Canada.
In the meantime, Ross tried to keep himself busy in the office at RossShell by assigning himself small or medium sized accounts work, which would not be time consuming, and he could "Put a quick stamp of approval on, and get out the door quickly. He also did so to keep his mind on something else important, and he would not obsess over the situation with MIA and George.
Kayley was calm and pleased at what Ross was trying to do with MIA, and she rewarded him.
"I know that it wont be perfect, and I know that you're still upset about MIA and such. RFS Canada you just have to be patient on, and MIA you need to see what Gerry can come up with in regard to George. I think that with MIA it is more of a token win of a company which you felt George lied to you about in regard to the value, and you want to "Stick it to him" Kayley said.
"Its that and another thing. Your idea of splitting the company 50-50 would have been an excellent idea to have put an end to the petty builshit, war, and mud slinging. Now look at all of the small nitty gritty details that George is trying to argue about. Who pays this small thing? Who pays that small thing? That all could be split down the middle or worked out on deal signing day of the 50-50 agreement that you so wisely came up with. George, however, is trying to use it as a stall tactic, because he is acting immature about not winning the whole ball of wax in regard to the company. I wish I had gotten the whole ball of wax also, so that I could have done my favorite thing, either assign it to one of RossShell's smaller divisions, break it up and sell it off into pieces, or make it a manageable size so that I could run it all myself, and have it as my other whole responsibility situation, in addition to what I do with Fritz, Steve and the oil and gas. George fucked that whole thing up, for now. Unless we can work something out. " Ross said.
"Ross, I know you are furious about what George is doing, but please, do everything in your power not to turn this into a long, drawn out legal battle. Whether the company is worth one penny or two hundred million dollars, it is not wise for you to do that, for every reason" Kayley said quietly.

The days went by as Ross just tried to focus on his self assigned projects of small accounts in the RossShell office. He tentatively planned to go to OKC in a week or two, depending on how his headaches felt, and his energy level.
Near the end of that week, Mister P called Ross.
"Mister Ross, if your headaches stay stable, may we please request the pleasure of your presence for no more than four days and three nights. Two to three shows, and a possible, about fifty fifty chance at an office project with a guy who wants to have one meeting with us?" Fritz said.
"Yes, Sir, Mister P. As long as my headaches feel like this, I will be down early Monday afternoon, like usual" Ross said.
On Sunday evening, Ross received a surprise phone call from Gerry.
"Ross, I dont want to count our chickens until they hatch. Yet, I just received a phone call from someone about a situation regarding George, that might allow us to get out of this with things in our favor with at least a majority holding of MIA, and at best case scenario for George, with him as a minority percentage holder of the company, a silent partner, with no say about how the company was run, whether by you, yourself, an impartial person, or whatever. It seems as though George has spent so much of his time focused on his war with you, that he has been careless with other business interests. Certain companies and deals he has are in bad shape. He might end up being sued by parties completely separate from this, would could hurt him, badly, and with bank debt he owes, that he also was careless about, and cannot pay. I dont want to celebrate yet, because we have a long way to go, but, we might be able to have George in a position where so to say "We can make him an offer he cant refuse" Let's just see what happens" Gerry said.
Ross Grinned. "Okay, I know that I have to keep calm. I swear, Gerry, it would serve that man right after the fiasco he has created with this. I am going to OKC tomorrow for three or four days to do my regular work there. Please call me anytime, for any reason." Ross said.
"You know I will. We will keep in close touch" Gerry said.

Gerry told me that George has been so focused on his vendetta against me, with MIA, that George is apparently screwing up other important things, and may well be saddled with things like lawsuits on other interests he has, bank debt, unhappy customers and investors. George may have to concede due to having so many other problems, that he will have no time , energy, or money to continue this insane war against me over MIA" Ross said.
"Ross, it sounds good. Please. You have been doing such a good job just focusing on your accounts that you assigned yourself at RossShell, that you are not obsessing about George, MIA, RFS Canada, or John Fish. Get on the plane tomorrow, go see your admitted favorite business partners Fritz and Steve. Do your energy deal as best you can, and see what happens" Kayley said.
