Legendary Ali boxing corner man Angelo Dundee dies

I'm just reading this in my local paper so apologies for lack of a link right now. Dundee was largely responsible for much of the development of one of the greatest boxers of all time, if not the outright greatest, in my opinion.

The Ali-Frazier matches are classics in the boxing world, and I remember seeing some of them on TV. R.I.P. Mr. Dundee.

you can see many of the Tyson fights on youtube, if you want to see them. I actually own a couple VHS copies i bought a year or two ago that has some ofthe frazier vs. Ali fights as well as rumble in the jungle, and a few more interesting fights.

I hear, sadly, that Ali is in very poor health also.

I don't think the heavyweight ranks will ever regain the aura of times past.

Angelo Dundee was a great trainer and also a great man. He knew the fight game as well as anyone in the business and took Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard to several world titles. I enjoyed seeing him on FightNights, movies,and TV. I will miss him.
