Lemons!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so my husband bought a used van a few weeks ago, for work...that way we save mileage etc. on our honda pilot suv...but the van began having trouble almost immediately..he bought it from some guy who was a friend of a cop guy who is hubby's friend..the first thing that occurred cost hubby about five hundred big ones..then this week...the brakes stick..or got stuck..it would cost a couple of thousand to get new ones or whatever..so he traded it in on a omg a toyota???? i just thought of that..a toyota hybrid prius...sighs..anyway, i told him he was buying a lemon with that van....

Izzy, Did he try to make lemonade first? I just bought a 1984 Mercury Cougar for my wife to drive, and then my daughter next when she gets her license. If it lasts that long.

Good thing though. My brother is quite a mechanic!

Izzy, may I suggest a New Beetle! I bought a diesel version back in 1998, and it got an amazing 59 mpg at 65 mph, while on the cruise control. Great little car. Diesel smells bad but it is less pollutive than a gas engine, and all a prius is is a glorified golf cart! Please dont get offended, jmo!

Silly man why should i get offended? I didn't make the Prius..or buy it either lol..i think a Beetle would probably be too small for all the stuff he has to carry around while he travels..he is an outdoor salesman and has a lot of crap, err i mean stuff and boxes in his vehicle..

Anyway, it probably doesn't matter what you buy, as long as it ain't an American car. American cars suck. And they suck primarily because a lot of them aren't really American anymore, can you say outsourcing? (Why are there no more cars like the '67 Pontiac GTO: 🙂 ).
