Lers with smartass wives/girlfriends: how do they react when you threaten to tickle?

Do you have a lady in your life who is a really sarcastic, smartass type? I'm sure you remind them that you know where they're ticklish, or outright threaten to tickle them. How do they generally react to these threats?

Once in a while if I make smartass or sarcastic comments to my husband, he doesn't even threaten - he just grabs me and goes right for the tickling, usually saying something like "You wanna say that again?" It's all lighthearted and I'm not the bitchy type, but it's funny when we do that. If he did threaten to tickle me for giving him attitude I'd be pretty defiant, something like "Oh yeah? Do your worst" or "You wouldn't!" mostly because I totally want him to.

My friends do that too. I'm sometimes a bitch/smartass, sometimes cocky too lol But I don't mean to offend anyone though. My friends just seem to use it as an excuse to punish me by tickling ect. I sometimes say cooky stuff like.. "Don't you dare.." Or if a friend says he's going to tickle me - "You can try.." or even the classic "You and what army?" but that works out really bad for me because my others friends say they would help..

I'm the same way as Brandi. I'll sometimes give hubby an intentional smartass comment just to get him to tickle me. Like I've said in other posts, he calls tickling 'behavior modification therapy'..lol. When I do say something snarky, he'll just say: "Oh, that's it. You're getting tickled". Other times he'll just grab my foot and start tickling while I'm laughing and pleading: "No, no, no. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Sometimes he'll stop, other times he'll just tell me I don't seem apologetic enough.

If it's done in a fun playful way, I think that most wives and girlfriends love it. It's good to laugh. 🙂
