I think Ortiz will go down. Liddell learned about under-estimating his opponent with Couture, that was all that may have been in Ortiz's favour.

I think you're right. Ortiz had trouble getting Forrest Griffin off his feet. There's no way he'll take Liddell to the mat. And we've already seen what happens when Ortiz stands and trades with Liddell once. Liddell by KO/TKO before the end of the third round.

The Griffin/Jardine fight will be closer than most believe I think. Jardine is better than most people give him credit for. Still, Griffin will have the crowd on his side and more experience. I'm cheering for Jardine, but I think it'll be Griffin by decision.

Arlovski/Cruz is the mismatch of the century. Arlovski by KO in the first round. No questions asked.

Tito should`nt of even taken that fight.his knee and back were all f`ed up.when and if they fight again it will be just like the first round of that fight....Tito raining down elbows.

i can`t make a prediction for the Tito/Chuck fight cause it seems i always lose but i am a huge Ortiz fan.

With that said, Chuck is a monster and Tito can't handle his fire power, no way is Tito going to get Chuck on the floor to do his famous ground and pound finishes. I just hope Tito can stay 3 rounds with Chuck to make it a good fight but the Iceman will probably not let Tito out of the 1st round.

I never liked Tito either until i saw the ultimate fighter. but im still rooting for the iceman. wish i could watch it.

Well, it went 3, but shoudve been stopped at 1. Ortiz got beat down worse in the first than the third. But Liddel s a monster, Ortiz was outmatched.

Now for Liddell. He'll stop Silva hands down. Silva can't take a punch as well as other people Liddell has fought (Ortiz included) and he'll head straight for Liddell. Silva vs. Liddell would be Liddell by KO in Round 1.

Rampage vs. Liddell has a shot at being the Best Fight of 2007. Could go either way. Mind you, some Pride fighters have trouble in the UFC because the rules are tighter. We'll have to see how Rampage does in his debut for sure.

This is Wanderlei Silva right? Not Anderson Silva? hm.. im a little late to chime in on this.. but if i had to put money down, id put it on silva (wanderlei, not anderson) but thats just because i like the underdog usually..

but in all honesty, silva could give him a run for his money, but like you said, i think there are too many technical holes in his game for liddell to exploit.. his counter style is perfect for silva's aggressiveness..

i say silva 2 years ago would have destroyed liddell, but now.. not so much

maybe chuck will man up and go to heavyweight to fight filopovic now that the UFC snatched him up.. but in all honesty, i think rampage is going to eat him alive when they meet again.. rampage is facing marvin eastman in february, and though eastman is no pushover, rampage is going to eat him alive.. travis lutter knocked out marvin eastman.. i kind of lost all respect for his stand up at that point, if he got KNOCKED OUT by a machado jj student with barely a stand up game at all..

but if he somehow does manage to get past rampage, i suggest he move up to heavyweight and fight cro cop, or cro cop is likely to drop to 205 (which has been said he would do) and come take his belt from him..

sweet, i had not heard him say anything about moving to heavyweight.. the only thing i ever heard was him say that he would fight cro cop, but only at 205, not heavy.. so i assumed he would have a problem with making the move, but thats great news.. i hope he does move to heavyweight and destroy sylvia.. someone needs to.. it looks like brandon vera is probably going to leave for the EXC (cant blame him, $$$), so that doesnt leave much for the heavyweight title shot.. cro cop will get past eddie sanchez, heath herring will get past jake obrien, and then you are left with cro cop, herring, sylvia, and possibly arlovski in the contention (even though i LOATHE the thought of sylvia/arlvoski IV).. and then possibly liddell if he makes the move.. id laugh if he made the move before he fought rampage (not that i think he would)

if cro cop gets the heavyweight belt though, the only one who could even THINK about taking it away from him is liddell.. no one else stands even a fraction of a chance against a world class striker like cro cop.. we all saw what happened to the middleweight division when anderson silva came into the picture with his world class striking.. it got flipped.. so hopefully the heavys can flip, for the better

not taking away from his skills but lets be realistic.he is the #1 or #2 LHW in the world but i don`t think he`d fair all that well....i`d still pay to see it though
