Blah~ probably asked before but boy does it frustrate me when I do this to myself. x3

Anyone ever been tickled in a public situation, and despite enjoying the sensation, the touch~ the sudden laughter... you feel compelled to get them to stop before they realize how much you like it?

I wouldn't say embarrassing, but gyeh~ it sure can be! I've been tickled by female co-workers, who have no idea of my fetish. I'm not horribly ticklish, but I sure do react when surprised. Even though I'm not that ticklish~ I still try to get away as quick as possible for fear of it getting worse~ and yet, deep down inside, I hoped it did.

I guess it's the same thing with "No means yes~" sometimes~ and yet how can you expect them to know that, and would you want to? Bah, blushing. -_- lol

I think that in public situations, its very different than it might be in private. Each person is different, but I would expect most people would give the "expected" response when tickled in front of others.

Plus, we're dealing with the whole "love / hate" thing. You want it to stop when its happening, but you crave it the second its over.

For me definitely.
Also, if you're ticklish, there is a few split-seconds of panic reaction when it comes unexpectedly. It's pretty instinctive to try to get away before your brain kicks into gear and registers "shit, I really wanted them to tickle me for ages and now I've blown it!"

I know~ that's the lamest part. ^^ I almost wish I was far more hyper-ticklish so I could justify the reaction. (Really, ticklish people are blessed, they just don't know it just yet. X3)

I pretend I don't like it when it's someone I don't know or someone who doesn't know about my fascination with tickling. I find I get embarrassed even though there's not really anything to be embarrassed about. I agree that panicking is an instant reaction to being tickled.

There was this guy who I liked for a very long time. We were pretty close, best friends. He tickled me one time, on my knees... and I screamed, "Don't you EVER do that again!" Yikes! I didn't know I was going to do that. LOL LOL I guess I thought he was going to unleash the tickle monster in me. And well I couldn't take it back either.

He never tickled me ever again. Sigh... and I really really really wanted him to. I probably scared the crap out of him. How embarassing. (Then- now it is funny.)

Ugh, yes~ that's exactly the kind of panic regret I'm talking about. Where you're tickled and your emotions are going every which way. Some people I guess can sit there and take it like a champ (like Milagros over here. <3) but, I get absolutely scared. Not just because of the tickling, but afraid to share something that makes me feel like tickling does in front of others.

I once had a few of my friends rush me~ and I can still remember the looks on their faces in my memory. Though I didn't have much of a say in the matter, and I'm not super ticklish, I responded pretty hastily. (It's not hard for me to get away...^o^) They never tried again, literally those once in a million opportunities.

People in general don't really 'touch' each other post adolescence. If you're touching someone, there is usually a personal reason for it. Tickling still allows people to bypass those personal barriers~ but because they're there in the first place, they're super rare for me~ I just ruin it by not letting it wash over me when the chance comes...
