Limited use of chat room functions with Apple Imac

I have an Apple iMac and am able to get to the chat room but cannot view member profiles from the room. Not a deal breaker as I can open a second window, but was wondering if there is a technical fix?

turn off pop up blockers and/or click the icon in the chatroom toolbar that pops the chat window out of the webpage, allowing you to navigate away without being logged out.
