Little Bee's

Hi All! Have any of you noticed some strange little bee's around your house?

We have had some kind of bee around our house for a few years now. They are smaller than a wasp, but are (best I can tell) pure black. And, mean as everything.

And, I'm not sure, but I think they kill other bee's. We had a jacket nest right above the front door. I sprayed and killed some of them yesterday (was going to knock down the nest today).

When I went out to do it, the nest was crawling with these strange bees.

And, about a year (or two) ago, the same thing happened with a wasp nest.

And, spray doesn't seem to kill them. Does anyone know what kind of bee I'm talking about?

There should be a university in your state with an entomology school. I'd check their site. Or just search for insects common to (fill in your location.)

Of course, if your concerned the little buggers are a threat somehow gamer you can of course do what Bugman said to do.

After all, better to bee sure than sorry. 😉
