Liz Carpenter dies at age 89

Agree with her political views or not, she always impressed me as a classy lady who could disagree with her opponents in a rational manner. The statement she wrote for Lyndon Johnson after the death of President Kennedy will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Mrs. Carpenter.
