Longest you've travelled a meet, sesh or event?

I worked out this morning, that all 4 of my 2005 meets come out to a grand total of 800 miles driving, on the dot. 22 hours (give or take) All in a thirsty car, and to say my car isn't fuel economic would be putting it lightly haha. Might as well have flown. Cheaper.

My 2nd ever sesh nearly 2 decades ago, a gal flew all the way over from Ireland to meet me when I was out of work. Even paid for everything like the hotel when I was a bum. Bugs me even now. I still hope I bump back into her one day just to repay the favour 😔

How far would you trek for a nice meetup?

Assuming the US crowd will own me on miles total with flights but all my miles are in the god awful UK traffic which is an accomplishment in itself.

I'm not sure this counts.
In 2017 I traveled 2,400+ miles by airplane from NYC to Los Angeles.
My trip had two purposes: a) to see the World Series, and b) to have two sessions with Miss Sky, a Switch working in The Dominion.
I did accomplish both purposes.
I did enjoy the sessions with Miss Sky more than the World Series, since the cheating bastros cheated to steal it from my team.

I've traveled countless times from the Southern US to the West Coast and along the East Coast for events and meet ups.

Strangely enough, I love my spontaneous trips the most. I've enjoyed rolling into town on a whim and meeting up with old friends for a bite to eat or to catch a show. If tickling happens, cool. If it doesn't... Cool.

Gotta session this weekend, though. YAY LOL

So far, the only travelling for tickling I've done is Pittsburgh to NYC twice starting this year.

I only being to one event before, luckily it was only 1 hour and 30mins by train, so it wasn’t to bad, I don’t drive myself, so where ever I could get my public transport is my answer to this 😁

Before last year, furthest I went was Pittsburgh. Met and hung out with a former TMF member. Now, longest trip to date is my trip near Laguna Beach, CA to meet with a long time friend.

Ive gone from the UK to Poland to see a friend for a few weeks and session, that was 1,050 miles (1,690 km) just flying and not including travel to the airport.
Had various treks across the UK over the years.
Have had people visit me though and traveled a lot further.
New York to London 3,470 miles (5,585 km) with added 235 miles driving to get to me.
Prague to London 650 miles (1,045 kilometers) with added 235 miles driving to get to me.
Then a few shorter trips including from Prague, Amsterdam, Dublin and various places across the UK.

Nothing crazy for me. For single trips one way by car was about 250 miles and by flight was about 800 miles, and even those were challenging to fit into my time constraints. If everything lined up just right, I'd probably do farther, but for the sake of practicality, my wife and I tend to look within about a 3 hour travel window.

In comparison to you guys, I haven't really went far. I've usually considered outside my usual circles of travel to be far.... but then again, I found those that were like me (slightly off kilter perhaps?).... maybe?
