Look what Venray and Tracy made for me!

His name is Scanner. He's a little stuffed monkey with a baseball cap and carrying a bunch of bananas. Venray and Tracy stuffed several of these and presented them to friends at NEST. I gotta tell you, I love this little guy already!!

I couldn't take Scanner home, because my three dogs would think he's their new toy. He wouldn't last a day. So instead, I set him in my office window. Check out the enclosed picture. Notice the Dept of Homeland Security building behind him.

Haha. Well, actually, I'm only on the third floor, but on this side of the building the ground level is G-2 so it's more like 5 stories. BTW, I wasn't kidding about that building in the background. It used to be a computer company but 2 years ago it was renovated. The outer walls were stripped off, and replaced with these heavy duty steel-reinforced concrete panels. There's no doubt in my mind they were installed to withstand a 911-type attack.
