It's hard to tell if someone is into tickling. It's not part of every day conversation on the street, or at work (unless you have a great job). But I still want to send out feelers to those who are interesting to me, and who may be interested, but I'm not sure how. I have to be cool about it at work, and people can be freaky on the street. I know that if someone were to send out these feelers to me, I would pick up on it and we'd have ourselves a good talk. But from the feelin' around side, it's more like the sidelines. Any suggestions?? I think this reads more lame than it is, but you get the idea ! Thanks.

I'm afraid you'll either have to be very bold and just ask (and risk having the person flee in terror or run to a cop) or meet people with the sincere intention of getting to know them as a person first. Tickling, like sex or any other intimate act, will have to be put on the backburner as a topic of conversation until you get to know the person better.

When I first met the guy who opened my eyes to the wonderful world of tickling, I thought he had a very good way of getting into the topic. We never dated and I wouldn't even call us friends, just good aquaintences and we would be in the casual conversation when he would work tickling into the convo. He would ask a question and if I didn't answer right away he say something like "am I gonna have to tickle it out of you?" or if I'd giggle he'd comment that he could make me laugh harder than that. He'd go on to ask if I was ticklish and where, then after he'd said tickle a noticable number of times he asked "Is it ok with you that I like to talk about tickling?" Depending on their answer either drop it, or in my case he continued with "because I really like it..." Just pay attention to their reaction when you say the word tickling and by the time you get to the ticklish question you'll probably be able to tell if they're enjoying the conversation or not.

What a cool post. Yes, I'd have to agree with KittyKat. Work it into the conversation one time, then another, and keep looking for a reaction. I've told many women at the office that I "like being tickled." It goes over much better than "I have a tickling fetish!" If you're a ler, you might casually mentioned how you tickled somebody because it was too good an opportunity to pass up. The key is to be casual, with no hint of tension or desperation.

How about getting a shirt that says "Tickle me" on it? I can't remember where I found mine on the web, but there are some out there. Or you can buy t-shirt transfer paper for your printer, print the words you want and then iron them onto a shirt yourself.

I used a tickle me shirt to find my boyfriend and after 3+ months, we're still together and having fun!

Thanks for all the good advice. I've been trying all the above so I think I'm on the right track. I just have to find someone cool enough to go through with it with me.

That guy was pretty smooth about it. I guess I've gotta stop diving over the desk every time a woman raises her arm, or lurking like a lecherous fiend in the shadows when someone slips off her shoes. (but these are my hobbies, and it will be hard)

If only there was a way of knowing;you just never know if your gonna get a giggle or a slap (some people can be so uptight)... I know I'd appreciate it. I always prop my feet up on the table just hoping someone will walk by and run there fingers over them but it hasn't happened yet🙄
