Looking for a story

I don't remember the specifics too much. There were astronauts and they find an alien life form that feeds off of tickling. Allegedly the story line involved the life form being a female and giving birth to several offspring.

I *thought* it was a tentacle thing but that's just conjecture and I have no idea. I'm definitely looking for the first paragraph, not sure about this one.
