Looking for stocks

Hi,

I'd like to own a pair of stocks, so I was wondering if anyone out there had any plans or "blueprints" for building a good, sturdy set? Recommended wood, padding methods, how to stain or decorate them, the whole bit.....?

Thanks Ann! Always looking for a man with a plan. I actually have a need for stocks rather than just a desire, since, after our DFW gathering, I may have found someone to play with who's requesting their use.....
