as you all know when i posted about losing my 2 coworkers this year to cancer, i thought it couldnt get worse but then we got the call last night that my uncle passed away. he had been very sick and suffering for a long time so i guess we kind of expected it but its still really sad and im going to miss him alot :'( so keep my family in your prayers. thank you.

Sorry to hear that. my biggest fear in life is getting cancer. thats the one way i dont want to go.

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle's passing xticklefan. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family.

maniac makes an excellent point. Cancer is the cruelest way to go. My paternal grandfather died of cancer, and suffered for two years. After watching the horror he went through, and our family, I'd never want to have that.

It's tough losing so many people in a short span. I lost three grandparents in one year.

On my father's side, my grandmother died in june 2002 and then my Grandfather died in July right after her.

On my mother's side, I got a call at six in the morning on Dec 21 from my mother informing me that my grandfather (her dad) had died.
