I was sad to read of the death of Lou Johnson, outfielder for (among other teams) the Dodgers.
I will never forget his home run which broke a 0-0 tie in game 7 of the 1965 World Series. Confident that Koufax would complete the shutout that he was pitching, I knew then that the 1965 World Championship was ours.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Johnson.
