Lou Reed/Metallica Collaboration...maybe the worst thing I've ever heard!!!

Now I like Metallica (Their 80's stuff anyway) and I grew up with Lou Reed thanks to my dad but...what the hell is this crap!!??

I wouldn't go that far. Their 2008 release "Death Magnetic" was very good. They went back to their earlier sound for that album and I thought it worked.

I liked Death Magnetic but one review had it right when it said none of the songs would stick and I probably wouldn't be listening to it as much as their early stuff.

I haven't listened to Death Magnetic in like, a year or something.

I wouldn't rank it ahead of any of their first four albums, but I still thought it was very solid.
