I was living in Houston when the Love Ya Blue craze was in full bloom. Bum and his boys had a habit of taking you to the heights before sending you crashing back to earth. Despite the frustrations, it was a good time to be an Oilers fan. Even on TV, you could feel the energy gripping the Astrodome, with the sea of Columbia blue filling the seats. R.I.P. Bum.
