Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Hello,

Has anyone had one of these?

I had one this past week. The masseuse (younger lady) spent a good amount of time massaging underarms, tummy, and inner thighs. Of course all these areas are ticklish spots and I laughed a good amount during the massage. The masseuse found this to be amusing .

Never received one, but have given them as I am a physical therapist. The thing with lymphatic drainage is you can't put too much pressure like the typical therapeutic massage and it is done in a way that you "clear" the larger lymphatic nodes closer to the heart and then continue down the limbs so the fluid has somewhere to go. Underarms, clavicle and inner thighs have some of the largest ones, so must clear them first. But it's lighter bc if you place pressure downwards you could occlude the fluid from moving so definitely understand the ticklish sensation you could have had
