MAI TOKIHA VS. RUKIA
(AUTHORS NOTE: Orphans in ‘My-Hime’ are giant monsters. They have nothing to do with children without family.)
Mai closed her eyes and breathed in the night air. Everything seemed peaceful now that she and the other girls didn’t have to fight orphans again. Things couldn’t get any better. Right now her little brother was in America getting the heart transplant he so desperately needed and everyone who had vanished returned.
Mai opened her eyes and stared up at the night sky. One thing that the girl wasn’t incredibly happy about was the return of her powers. The rings made of fire returned to her wrists and ankles, but at least she didn’t have to use those powers to fight.
“AGHHHHH!” A scream erupted throughout the quiet city.
Mai yelped loudly and turned towards the city. She could see several lights being turned out and hear several dogs barking. “What’s going…” Mai began, her eyes widened in terror when she saw a massive creature chasing after a girl.
“DON’T WORRY!” Mai shouted, narrowing her eyes at the creature. “I’M COMING!” And with a loud boom Mai was shooting through the air at the creature. The girl, Mai could see, had stumbled and now the creature was hovering over her like an ominous shadow.
“NO!” Mai cried, picking up speed. The girl’s flew through the creature’s arm as it lifted it to attack. The arm was severed completely and landed with a loud thud on the ground. Mai turned in mid-air. “GET OUT OF HERE!” She shouted to the girl. The girl nodded, jumped to her feet and ran away.
Mai turned towards the orphan. This one looked different though. It wore a white mask, had long arms and legs and was covered in black fur.
“What do you think you’re doing!” The creature snapped.
“You can talk!” Mai cried, taken aback.
“You let me meal escape! How dare you!” The creature bent down, it was ready to attack. “But there’s something different about you. You aren’t from the soul society are you.”
“Soul what now?” Mai asked, blinking her eyes several times.
The creature laughed. “I don’t know what you are, but you smell delicious!” Mai’s eyes widened and nervous sweat trickled down her brow. “I think I can go away satisfied anyways as long as I can get a little nibble from you!”
“I’m not on the menu!: Mai said, with a smile. With that Mai flew at the creature as hard as she could. Just as the creature was about to sink it’s teeth into the girl, Mai quickly moved out of the creatures way and sliced her hand through it’s mask. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted another girl. A black haired girl also flying past the creature.
Mai flew into the air and turned. The creature had vanished and all that remained was the black haired girl.
The girl was staring up at Mai. “Who are you?” She asked, her eyes were narrowed at Mai.
“Me? Who are you?” Mai demanded, pointing a stern finger at the girl.
“My name is Rukia. I’m from the soul society. Why are you interfering with my work?” Rukia demanded.
“Your work? So you fight orphans too?” Mai asked.
Rukia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. “What do you think we were just fighting? That was a hollow and I‘m a soul reaper. My job is to hunt down these things.”
“Hollow…” Mai muttered.
“Either way you’re getting in my way.” Rukia said, pointing her sword at Mai. “I want you to swear you’ll never do anything like that again.”
“EXCUSE ME!” Mai shouted. “You’re the one who better swear never to do it again!”
“I see…” Rukia said, with a smile. “I guess I’ll just have to convince you otherwise.”
Rukia kicked off the ground and launched herself at Mai. Swinging her sword as hard as she could. Mai put her hands in front of her and blocked the attack using her rings, Rukia’s attack was strong though and Mai was launched backwards.
Mai turned in midair and grabbed onto a construction beam that was shooting out of an uncompleted skyscraper.
“Whew…” Mai breathed. The relief on her face vanished when she Felt Rukia grab her around the waist.
“Go ahead and let go.” Rukia said, whispering into the girl’s ear.
“BACK OFF!” Mai shouted, trying to elbow the girl off of her.
Rukia easily blocked the attack and then pinned her arm behind her back. “Let go!” Rukia said, digging her fingers into Mai’s exposed underarm. Mai shrieked with ticklish delight and began kicking her feet wildly. Mai was incredibly ticklish all over her body and often her friends would tease and pick on her by ticklish her. In fact one of her friends goosed her from behind the first time they met.
Rukia smiled evilly as she raked her index finger up and down the ticklish hollow. Mai laughed hysterically. She wriggled hard and even tried to lift herself up onto the construction beam, but Rukia was too heavy to lift.
“KNOCK… IT… OFF!” Mai roared, with ticklish laughter.
Rukia ignored the girl as she scratched and teased the girl’s underarm. “I’m surprised you forgot…” Rukia began.
“STOP!” Mai cried.
“You can fly silly.” Rukia said.
Mai’s eyes widened. She had forgotten.
Mai let go of the beam, but before she cold do anything Rukia had kicked her in the back sending her flying through the air. “HEY!” Mai cried, turning in mid-air. The girl saw Rukia land on a building a few meters away. The girl was pointing her sword at the girl.
Mai landed on the building directly in front of Rukia. “I don’t appreciate being teased like that.” Said the girl.
“Really.” Rukia said, slamming the point of her sword into the building. “Why don’t you tell me all about it.”
“FINE!” Mai rushed after the girl. Rukia smiled.
Mai stopped in front of Rukia and then leapt high over the girl’s head. Rukia gasped. She wasn’t expecting that.
Mai wrapped her arms around Rukia’s waist and dug her fingers into the girl’s sides. Rukia shrieked into ticklish laughter and began thrashing wildly in Mai’s arms. “HEY! THAT TICKLES!” Rukia shouted, through her ticklish laughter.
Rukia fell to her knees. “Are you sorry?” Mai asked, picking up her torture.
Tears formed in the corners of Rukia’s eyes. Suddenly the girl kicked off the ground sending both Mai and herself high into the air. Flipping around Rukia grabbed Mai’s shoulders, turned her arms and then both landed hard on another rooftop. Rukia pinned Mai’s hands over her head.
“I’m not sorry one bit!” Rukia said, digging her fingers into Mai’s ticklish underarms. Mai’s eyes went wide and laughter exploded from her curled lips. The girl kicked her feet wildly, wriggled underneath Rukia and tried to escape the girl’s grasps, but Rukia was surprisingly strong.
“STOP IT… PLEASE!” Mai cried, through her ticklish laughter.
“Will you stop going after hollows?” Rukia asked, as she began poking Mai’s ribs.
Mai shook her head hard. “NO! I CAN’T!” The girl screamed.
Rukia sighed deeply. “Then I can’t stop tickling you.” And with that Rukia began teasing Mai’s belly. Mai’s laughter grew steadily louder and louder. The muscles in her stomach tightened and her body vibrated underneath Rukia.
“COME… ON!” Mai screamed.
Rukia began poking Mai’s ribs with her free hand. “You’re so sensitive!” Rukia observed. Smiling warmly.
“EVERYONE… SAYS… THAT!” Mai said, struggling to speak.
Rukia giggled as she began tickling Mai’s left underarm. She scratched it slowly with just her index finger and then began raking her nails up and down the ticklish hollow.
“OK!” Mai screamed. “I’LL… STOP! I SWEAR!” The girl screamed.
“Good girl.” Rukia said, halting her torture. Rukia got to her feet. “Now that we have that out of the way…” The girl began, but stopped when she realized something. “Wait… How can you see hollows anyways?!” The girl cried. “Or me for that matter.”
“JUST KIDDING!” Mai declared, jumping to her feet.
“Bakudo Number One: Sai!” Rukia said.
Before Mai could do anything the girl felt some invisible force take hold of her. “Hey…” Mai squeaked, as she fell back to the ground. She couldn’t move.
“How do you like my Kido?” Rukia asked, smiling evilly.
“I can’t move!” Mai cried.
“Don’t worry. I’ll unbind you before I leave, but for lying to me.” Rukia began, walking around Mai. “I think I’ll tickle you just a little longer.” And with that Rukia began undoing Mai’s shoes and pulling them off her feet.
“NO WAIT!” Mai cried. “I’m really ticklish there! Please don’t tickle my feet!” The girl begged.
Rukia stopped peeling off Mai’s footwear. “Are you ticklish anywhere else?” Rukia asked.
“What?” Mai began. “Why do you want to know?”
“Because I plan on tickling you of course.” Rukia said. And with that she began raking her fingers across Mai’s ticklish soles. Mai squealed with ticklish laughter and tried to pull her feet away, but it was impossible. Rukia’s Kido was too powerful for her.
“NOT THERE!” Mai shouted.
Rukia danced her fingers across Mai’s ticklish soles, she raked her nails over the girl’s arches and then scratched her heels mercilessly. Mai screamed with ticklish laughter, her chest heaved and her body shook.
“NOT… FAIR!” Mai said, still laughing hysterically. Soon the soles of her feet matched the colors in her cheeks.
“Life’s not fair and so are soul reapers. You’re in for a long night.” Rukia said, picking up her torture. “A very long night…”
