venray said:Get your stories published in a mainstream magazine or TIB's flicks released at the theater and we would probably have the same problem....
This movie does not target the same audience....so you are comparing apples to oranges here....
Stereotypes of all kinds that are thrown at us by mainstream producers are wrong and do nothing but create negative feelings towards the group portrayed... The general public makes a judgement on the group portrayed because of what they see....Not because of what they know first hand...
Does a lot more harm than good....
Bad publicity is bad publicity. It's easy to find our stories, and clips on the internet without really looking for them. I can go to Google and type a simple name and there's a link that leads here, or another site. Try and find an image and you see a girl strapped to a table being tickle tortured than that's not going to look good either. Than tack a line like "kidnapped and tickled against her will." It's like your trying to compare sins. Your saying one type of media is more damning than the next when both are easily assessable, especially since the internet exists and information is passed around so frequently. So in the case of media now it's not comparing apples to oranges, it's comparing red apples to green ones.
It's happening here on the forums too. People will look their noses down at others who enjoy M/M content, and those people will keep getting bagger for it until a mod has to step in and tell them to back off. I know a few people on here who chews out the creator of a clip just because they use cusswords in their titles. Which I think it's funny to get on anyone’s ass because of that when over to the left we see a topless girl, and we see posts like "forced to cum."
And as someone pointed out this is just a movie, and as someone else sarcastically put it everyone knows this is a movie, so why are we lighting torches ready to march to the theater?
