Male Lers

I've noticed a lot of male lers around this forumzz have said that they're hardcore lers but would be willing to 'lee should their female friend ask. I'm wondering how much of that is motivated by a desire to appear like a caring, sharing sort of bloke and thus potentially seem more appealing to female ticklephiles? It's nothing to be ashamed of (hell I've done it myself, said "yeah I'd lee if I was asked lolol" even though I'm really not ticklish so it'd just be me getting tied up and poked for a bit), just a simple question. Actual female lees seem few and far between, female lers and switchy types seem a little more common and so in my opinion could it be that we're all just hedging our bets, that we don't actually want or like to 'lee (or are really, really bad at it) but will take it on the chin for a chance to 'ler?

Thats a very interesting question. I'm 100% lee with no desire to 'ler at all but I've got the impression, that lots of guys really want and actually expect us to tickle them back. I'm really curious already about the answers you will get here.

I think I'm like you on this one. I've said "I'd lee if asked," but I've always followed it up with the truth: namely, that I'm just not very ticklish--so there's no false expectations. Honestly, as a ler, if I find that a woman is seriously looking for a good male switch, then it's pretty easy for me to just acknowledge that we're not a good match for that reason. I had to say that to a woman just last week actually. I guess I should have sent her to this site to find someone else, but I forgot...lol

If you say, "I'd lee if asked," but know you aren't ticklish...that is essentially lying. There are so many ways to create false expectations.

No. I said I also told them I wasn't very ticklish. Honestly, what would be the point in lying when the truth would be so plainly evident and not much fun for either one of us?

I'm very proud to admit that I'm both a Ler and a Lee,somwhat of a tickling Switch,for I always find it fun in the best of both worlds(since both myself and my tickling partner[whoever it may be]always make sure that we each do our parts in both sharing the Ler and Lee roles[whenever we gett he time to undertake them]).

I think some people who are primarily tops (going beyond specifically being lers) feel they have to keep up some sort of mystique, and therefore, never switch, even if they might want to (or they do with certain select individuals, and just never repeat it).

I don't think that's about keeping up a mystique, I think it goes to the psychological roots of the fetish and wanting to dominate your partner. People who like dominating often don't like being dominated, which in my humble opinion is more psychological. Maybe they're keeping up a personal delusion for themselves, I don't know, but that's how it strikes me.
