males tickling males what do you think?

I don't have a problem with m/m tickling either. But it's just not my cup of tea. I don't feel threatened and nor am I homophobic. I personally don't like ones that act very flamboyant (?) where they're like "oh my god!!!" with their arms flailing around but I don't like that if a guy does it or a girl so at least there, it's equal, right? For me, tickling is sexual. I mean it's fun and it's not always about sex. So it's hard to explain but tickling is definitely something turns me on. But I'm not gay. And there's nothing wrong with that but that's not my sexual preference. Much like tickling is my sexual preference, other men aren't my sexual preference. So, in that sense, m/m doesn't really do it for me. If anything, I am repulsed by it because I guess it's the same as watching gay porn which I would be repulsed by (and personally, I was never into porn in general because I didn't enjoy seeing other guys' p*nises). Am I against it or against people who are into it? Hell no. Who am I to judge? (AND i'm going to a gay wedding next Feb.... but then again, it is a lesbian wedding so I know it doesn't count). Anyways, so, I would think that quite a few people here probably feel the same way. And the gay issue is still a very sensitive issue here so I would think that they probably have their own forums as well which may have a lot more material at. Not to exclude them but I think people find comfort in numbers (I mean that is why we're all here right? Because we see bunch of like minded people sharing stories, videos, etc). So, in that sense, there are probably plenty of m/m material out there and there might be forums that are similar to this for m/m but that may be why there aren't as many m/m stuff here.

And now that I think about it, it's rare for me to read stories about f/f also.... generally, I read the f/m or m/f stuff... it just depends on each person I think.

I don't like porn, and I think there should be more tickling videos where people are fully dressed. Also, in my stories, the people are always fully dressed. Out of all the stories I wrote, I would say that the one where Christopher Lloyd is relentlessly tickling the soles of Michael J Fox is my favourite.

I started thinking about this, and among other things, I just don't find men attractive except at times in a strictly aesthetic sense, like in Michelangelo's David, or the fallen angel depicted on the classic Led Zeppelin T-Shirt (no genitals there, one may note). And even in the strictest of aesthetic senses, it's difficult to get men's dangly bits to seem in any way artful or beautiful.

The degree to which I attach tickling to being a turn on also in part is blocked, because again, my brain is simply not wired to find men attractive in any sexual sense. I'm not repelled at this level, but it just doesn't appeal to me.

In terms of what may repell me, however, I actually think that of the views expressed so far, ticklishgiggle's premise of roles is most valid to me. I didn't want to think so at first, as I like to conceive of myself as a person who can see beyond traditional roles, but then I thought, "What if women were put in more masculine roles? Would I have enjoyed 'Braveheart' as much if it were all women out there covered in blood and woad, hacking each other to pieces?" I realized then I'd find it about as appealing as m/m tickling vids -- which is not at all.

This question is for everyone. Why is it that we see M/F, F/F and F/M but hardly ever any M/M tickling? I will admit like most guys the idea of 2 males tickling repulses me and it makes me struggle with my own homophobia. I honestly think it does not bother women as much yet men will say riduculas thinks about gay men yet when two women do the same thing they love it!! What is the sheer resistance built into our straight male minds that makes us feel so threatened? Anyway I wanted to know what others thought men and women. Thanks.

What do I think about it? I don't, I react to it from a deeper level than rational explanation. I don't like it and don't want to be confronted with it. I don't associate this with homophobia in any way, as I have not problem with anyone's sexual preferances and would only react to that if someone directly tried to seduce me. And the manner would be no different to how i would react to a woman I did not feel attracted to in the same situation.
So to me what our opinions are about something like this is really not material. What is far more relevant is how we behave when we are confronted by something we don't like. Are we able to handle it tactfully and politely, or do we feel the need to lash out and remove the "offender" from the planet?

I like usually M/F or F/M. I honestly am not one that is real interested with the others. There is nothing wrong with it, and F/F looks good, but preferably, that's what I like. I personally would feel uncomfortable if a male tickled me. But that's my opinion.

And with bfft, I really like when the ticklers and lees have clothes on. I mean, to cover the extremeties but they should have something over thoses. Other than that, I don't care (because I like bare bellies for tickling).

I have been very pleasantly surprised by the posts in this thread. I was active here in 2005, but the homophobia on this board proved too much to take, and I found I could no longer remain civil if I stayed.

I appreciate the people here who say that they are in no way interested in watching or participating in m/m yet do not deny others the right to do what pleases them. There was very little of that before.

What always killed me was the association of m/m (or even f/m) with gay men even though f/f was not necessarily associated with lesbians. Some males who clearly identify as heterosexual enjoy f/m. A smaller number enjoy m/m. In addition, I still remember all the m/m episodes in college, when a group of very obviously straight men would pounce on and tickle another guy to humiliate or punish him or just out of horseplay.

The irony is that I, the gay guy, never participated in any of that (much as I wanted to) since I knew it was a straight guy thing. (Which is not to say that all straight guys do that; rather, the context of a large group of guys being around [and also sometimes young women] made it 'acceptable' to the specific guys who engaged in it. In addition, I doubt that many of those guys were tickle fans, and I doubt that they viewed their actions sexually or were turned on by them.)

Anyway, let me stop here. I post to admit to Myriads publically that he was right about the civil nature of this particular thread. We've been having a debate in the Suggestions section, one that I initiated last week after not posting here for nine months, and I have been airing my anger over the way I was treated by macho tickle fans (for lack of a better term) last year; further, I have been trying to convince him to place a warning about homophobia on this board so gay people will know it is not entirely safe here.

I wish there had been a postive thread like this then. I am impressed--and I admit that I did not expect to be.

Carry on.
