Based on photos on that website, one can easily see that there was probably tickling involved. There is a HUGE difference in what constitutes like, BDSM stuff for fun and mutual enjoyment, and actual, straight up, literal slavery. It's not like in a BDSM context you actually consider the submissive person to be of less worth or importance in life than the dominant one, and they are NOT objects or treated as such. If it gets to the point where they are, something has gone seriously wrong and it needs to be stopped.

This young woman was literally tortured. She was threatened, electrically shocked, and raped. Doing a tickling session with someone ends with the enjoyment of both parties involved, and if it doesn't, something has gone seriously wrong.

Agreed. And there is no consensual - if you read the story, she was under the age of 18 when he and his wife took her in - which in Mississippi makes her a minor and unable to give consent.
