Sometimes, we try to pretend that some type of fact simply isn't true. We talk ourselves into believing the complete opposite. In Marissa's case, she refuses to admit that she's ticklish. She thinks that she has outgrown any childhood ticklishness. So, it should be no big deal for her undergo a little "testing", right ? But once she's tied up, she begins to show a little apprehension. She turns her head and doesn't want to see her bare feet within the reach of the tickler's fingers. It turns out that Marissa wasn't being so truthful, as after the first few moments of her tickle session have gone by, she is squirming and laughing as her feet are relentlessly attacked. And now Marissa has once again "found out" that she is indeed VERY ticklish. But since she tried to hide the truth from us, she's going to have to undergo a little more punishment to correct her behavior 🙂
