YES!
AND possibly the quickest one in MLB history(game had to be close to 2 hours flat)
Hell Buehrle isn't superstitious eitherBefore Steriods and Bud Selig coming up with the postage stamp strike zone games were played routinely in 2 Hours or less.
As far as Mark Buehrle is concerned, what a GREAT performance. Great job by Ken " Hawk " Harrelson by letting people know there was a Perfect Game going on. Fantastic job with calling the game. Was not superstitous at all.
DeWayne Wise, probably one of the greatest catchest in ninth taking a homerun away from Gabe Kapler and preserving the Perfect Game.
For those who missed it: Here is the boxscore to on the 18th Perfect Game hurled in MLB History. Congratulations Mark Buehrle.

Burls is also the 6th pitcher in MLB history to have a no hitter and a perfect game
Future hall of famer there. Even has a World Series save 🙂
As for more testament to Buehrle's laid back demenor, a sight he used to always do during every rain delay till Ken Williams sadly put an end to it, Tarp Sliding!

Slow down there. Hall of Fame??? You mean like the REAL Hall of Fame as in like the Cooperstown, New York Hall of Fame??? Surely you jest.
I like Mark Buerhrle, I really do. I have him on six of my 20 Fantasy Teams but certainly you can't seriously consider him a future Hall of Famer.
Now if he pitches another ten seasons and he does exactly what he has done to this point, then yes he is. But that is a BIG if. Usually they start to slow a bit at around 35 or so. I mean he is 30 right now. But I do hope you are right because I am a fan of Buerhrle. Just for kicks and giggles below are his career numbers included in it are the year by year breakdown. He is a VERY good pitcher.
