I would say that is the worst nickname for a baseball team that I have ever seen. 😱

The worst team ever in Major League Baseball was NOT the 1962 Mets, as many would guess. They were 40-120 and finished 60.5 games out of first place.
The worst team ever in Major League Baseball was the 1899 Cleveland Spiders of the National League. They were 20-134 and finished 84 games out of first place. (If you never heard of the Cleveland Spiders, it is because they went bankrupt at the end of the 1899 season and ceased to exist.)
