Wow thank god one less team now that will trying to go for Vick now. I guess Washington just loves to waste money being Congress or the Redskins.

Yeah, I think everyone saw that one coming. W-w-w-w-what??? Huh? Daniel Snyder has got to be the dumbest owner in professional sports. Look, I'm not a McNabb hater (or a McNabb lover). Donovan has his strengths and weaknesses, but a five year extension?? You gotta be kidding me. McNabb will be 39 years old the final year of this contract. 40 million guaranteed?! Wow. Just wow.

All the other soon-to-be free agent QB's (and their agents) in the NFL must be licking their chops right now awaiting their pay days. If McNabb's worth 5 years, $78 million, how much will Aaron Rodgers get? Matt Ryan? Joe Flacco?

OK I was wrong but so was the media reporting the story. But there is one part of the contract that shocks me, ok so he gets 3 1/2 mil this year and if with them next year 12 mil but but 25 mil if he suffers a career ending injury this year. Now I don't know everyones contracts but why pay someone over 2 years worth of money if your done or is that just Dan Synder.

The Redskins could actually cut him before next season officially begins and they would only owe him the $3-million or so that he gets for the remainder of this season. If he continues to struggle he could be gone without seeing any of that guaranteed money.
