i do occasionally surf but my name actually comes from Malibu CA, the tv show not the place. A guy on the show randomly shouts 'Ten foot swells!' and I just liked the way it sounded. It's been my on off handle ever since.

You're actually one of the first people to get the surfing reference, rather than thinking it's a reference to my junk.
