Meet my new dog Murphy!

Every Friday on my morning show, I have a lady from the local Humane Law Enforcement Office bring in a pet for adoption. During last week's chat, she mentioned that they also had a St. Bernard for adoption! Well, after a visit to the office, I am now the proud owner of Murphy! He is a two year old purebred, already well-trained, and soooooooooooooooooo lovable🙂

Absolutely! From what the people told me, the former owners didn't really take good care of him, so that's why he's thin. But don't worry...he's gonna get biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig

Actually, and quite surprisingly, he DOESN'T drool. Not a bit! That was a nice bonus when we adopted him.

Thanks gang! Though most of my life I've shied away from pets because of the responsibility and shedding hair, I'm really glad I adopted Murphy. He's such a lovable goof, I can't believe the previous family couldn't (or wouldn't) take proper care of him and give him a loving home.

Plus, my blood pressure has gone waaaaaaaayyyy down. And I'm sleeping better (It's amazing how much you appreciate sleep when the dog wants out in the middle of the night). And my coat is much shinier and my teeth are nice and bright
