Meet the Fockers-a hilarious movie!

Today I saw "Meet the Fockers" with my friend Russ. For those of you who saw "Meet the Parents", or know the story, the Fockers is the continuing story where the two families meet each other before the wedding of their children. The Fockers are played by Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Striesand.
While movie sequels are often dreary, boring, poorly written, and plain terrible, this sequel, at least in my opinion, and the opinion of the two people I was with, was absolutely hilarious, well done, and a million laughs.
So, I highly recommend seeing this movie with its stellar cast that includes Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Robert Deniro, Blythe Danner, Ben Stiller, and Teri Polo. It will hopefully rake in the cash at the holiday box office, and, if it does well, does anyone think there may be a "Meet the Parents 3" whatever it may be called? Any thoughts from anyone who has seen the Fockers? I would love to hear your impressions. Thanks.

We saw "Meet the Fockers" last night as well, very funny movie. Cracked up through the whole thing, though we both agreed that "Meet the Parents" was better.

Yep. What Drew said. I thoroughly enjoyed "Meet the Fockers" and wouldn't not recommend it. But, it seemed to be trying to do a bit too much. I liked the first better.

I haven't seen it yet, but this is what I kinda felt just from seeing the commercials, with the cat trying to flush the dog down the toilet. That already tells me they're going to try recycling humor from the first movie, which is the kind of stuff that disappoints me in sequels. I'm not saying I wouldn't see it, though. I'd probably enjoy it. I love Ben Stiller's movies where he's got a character like this, who you can't help but sympathize with and feel sorry for.

I gotta say I didn't like the first one. Instead of finding it funny and laughing, I found it highly stressful and was just sitting there with a clenched fist. I was just so angry the whole time! Boo to injustice!! I'm scared to see the second one. Of course, that might also have to do with my fear of Streisand. . . *shudder*
