Sorry to read that Mel has passed away. I attended one of his concerts at the Wheeling Jamboree many years ago.

Not a country fan, but what was always amusing was that he could sing quite well. But, get him in an interview, and he had a stuttering problem, which he admitted to many a time. Well, sir, you no longer have that problem. RIP Mr. Tillis, now with that great country band up there.
