As I post this thread.. this story is on the front page of.

www.nymets.com.

Mets Closer Jenrry Mejia, has been handed a lifetime suspension, after testing positive for a PED for the third time.

Supposedly, Mejia has to sit out at least two years, and then can re apply to baseball commissioner Rob Manfred for re instatement.

I personally applaud such a move.

Any player who uses PEDs should be banned, and barred from being eligible to make the Hall of Fame.

Thoughts on Mejia's suspension?

After being caught twice before, he must have been desperate to keep on using them.
 
Money and fame (or the desire for them) do strange things to some....
 
He was caught I think 4 different times. If you're that stupid you don't deserve anymore chances.
