lol....j/k. They have a big shot at winning and it will be a good game no matter who comes out on top. Michigan has the defensive advantage and Ohio State has the offensive advantage, so it will be interesting.

This will indeed be a close game, as all the Mich/OSU games are. Michigan has the defense to make the Buckeyes work and earn every yard they get. If anything, they will have to beat Michigan thru the air, as the Wolverines defense average under 30 yards allowed a game.

the key to this game will be

1) special teams, and return game
2)which running game shows up and which team can stop the run

to me, it doesn't matter who wins because I am confident the rematch is in January

Well, as an alumnus of the "Blue U" I am obligated to root on my wolverines.

That said, OSU has had a phenomenal season and is favored for VERY good reasons. (You don't see ME making any bets with Sadira, do you? LOL)

Nonetheless these are two great football teams and at the end of the day it is anybody's game and I have my loyalties, therefore I must say:

A case for both teams:If Michigan wins this is what happened, Hart ran for over 200 yards and scored 2 TD's and Henne went at least 14 for 20 for another 200 yards and 3 TD's with no INT's. Michigan got at least 2 turnovers and converted them to points. Michigan left no points on the field. Michigan was able to contain the following guys, Pittman, Ginn, Gonzalez, Robiskie, Wells and of course Troy Smith. In other words, Michigan has to play the perfect game both offensively and defensively.

If Ohio State wins, Troy Smith was not contained. Troy Smith found his receivers and minimized mistakes. Ohio State got turnovers from their defense. A stat you should all know, Ohio State has turned the ball over 12 times and they have yet to give up a point off of a turnover. Ohio State has gotten 27 turnovers and they have converted them into 112 points. They are a plus 15 on turnovers and a plus 112 points off of them turnovers. That is impressive. Also impressive is the fact that Ohio State gives up an average of 8 points a game. They have given up double digits in points only four times and has allowed the most points against Iowa ( at the time Iowa was ranked 13th ) who scored 17 points. Can Ohio State be beaten??? Yes!!! Will Michigan be the one to beat Ohio State??? I am not so sure.

My prediction: Ohio State 31- Michigan 14.

I'm nervous about Chad Henne, he hasn't proven he can win a game if needed. Troy Smith is fantastic, he throws a great ball, I hope for his sake the Lions don't draft him next year 🙂. This is a definite advantage for OSU..

However, the Baltimore Ravens proved you don't need a great quarterback to win a big game, a great defense will do...
