That is bizarre.....

Common sense dictates if someone has a fear/ phobia of being "tickled by feathers", they'd likely have the same fear of being tickled by fingers, q-tips, brushes, electric toothbrushes, and any of the other things you can be tickled with...

I wonder do they offer a program to stop someone with a tickling phobia in general....or does one who has a phobia of all tickling have to undergo several different tickling phobia programs ("fear of being tickled with fingers"; "fear of being tickled with electric toothbrushes"; "fear of being tickled with someone's tongue", etc?? 😀

I don't have a phobia about being tickled. I can dish it out, I guess I can take it also. However, I do have issues (not necessarily a phobia) about bondage. It absolutely intrigues me to no end to watch someone get tickled in bondage. When I watch videos, I have to remember to blink sometimes.

But, the idea of me being tied up and tickled with no way out nearly scares me to death even though I'm very curious about how it would feel. I don't trust anyone enough to try it out. I have these thoughts about being left there tied up or someone tickling me way past my limits and I wouldn't be able to stop them.

Also, there is a member on this board that loves to be tickled, but does not want tongues to be used. Real saliva aversion.

So I guess even us ticklephiles have some issues when it comes to tickling! 😎
 
I once new a girl who had a mild case of claustrophobia (fear of enclosed places), and a near-fear of being tickled. (she was incredibly ticklish, and would collapse into helplessness whenever tickled.)

Here's the strange part: Her most intense turn-on was to be bound helpless, and tickled. It seemed odd to me that someone who harbored a fear of tight places and tickling would actually derive such deep eroticism to the degree she did from the exploitation of such fears. She told me that the "fear" of being rendered helpless actually translated to incredible excitement. Then, being tickled was like being completely taken advantage of, and she loved the idea of not being able to stop it. As she grew into womanhood, her desires seemed to become an appendage of her sexuality.

She is, to this day, the inspiration for many of the stories I write.

I can relate to that....I've never desired to lick a woman's soles with my tongue, nor bite or kiss her feet...no matter how clean, or if she'd just showered. I wouldn't call it a phobia, but Traci would have to ask me to lick her feet or suck her toes....I ain't volunteering 😀

Also, Traci is sorta the opposite of you regarding bondage. She has to be tickled with extreme TLC...because she's horribly ticklish and freaks if it gets too intense. On the other hand, she has found a love for bondage...loves to be tied up, wrists behind her back, knees, ankles, even her toes. As long as the tickling is playful and gentle, she is really turned on by the feeling of helplessness (she always did like like Penelope Pitstop 😀

I wasn't making light of folks who are traumatized of being tickled, and am very sorry if it came off as such. There's no way I'd laugh at anyone with a phobia of being tickled...not with a sister I love dearly who is. Fear of being tickled and unable to escape is a genuine phobia she has (and is just as terrifying to sis as her fear of tornadoes -- and I've seen her shake like a leaf and start crying during tornado warnings 🙁

Well look on the bright side of things, if this "treatment" works does that mean those who once feared it will now enjoy it? If so we need to start loading people into this treatment, then everybody can share the joy and amusement of being tickled by feathers!! 😀 Although I'd much prefer tickling sans feathers, but that's just me.

I hope I didn't lead you to believe that I was offended. I just mentioned something that seemed common to your post. I'm not that easily offended no matter what they say!😀 I'm interested in overcoming my concerns (no longer fears, but still....) about bondage. I bet it's as fun as it looks. Maybe one day......

The key is trust....I doubt Traci would allow anyone else on earth to tie her up and tickle her. We've known each other since I was in the 2nd grade....38 years. She knows I'd never abuse her; knows I'd never use tickling or bondage to begin with unless she agreed, and to limits she set (she recently told me she hated when her ex-husband would tickle her...because he'd always do it when he was drunk, hold her down and tickle her until she cried...until she wet herself; he did their oldest daughter the same way 🙁

Bingo! It's all about that sense of comfort and trust. You need to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your limits are going to be respected and that you're completely safe before you can let go and really enjoy something this intimate. And gee... what a great place to meet people just like that!

Personally, when I first saw this site, I got quite a chuckle. After thinking about it, I believe it offers a wonderful scenario for a video (or film). Could be really something for a producer with the resources to make a video or film based on this!
