As a consumer of dozens of tickling clips, I thought it might be interesting to see if any other, ah, collectors feel the same as I do about a couple of trends in tickling videos. Here goes:

1. If you are selling an f/f (or ff/f or f/ff etc.) video that you produced, I applaud you. Your model costs doubled, and I hope you will recoup the costs by selling more than twice as many clips. But do you know what hurts your sales? The last sentence in your descriptions: "And then I come in and finish her off." Gents - if I wanted to see another man in a tickle vid, I would have bought one of your f/m titles. Seriously. Resist the urge. I know that you're nice looking guys, but you don't have a big fake rack and long fingernails. I don't want to see you, hear you, even sense you presence. If you must tickle your models (and I would too!) just do it after the shoot and don't include it in your final clip! I can't say how many times I have passed over an otherwise great-looking f/f clip because there's a dude in it.

2. Don't get crazy with the tickling props. Coincidentally, models come equipped with (arguably) the finest tickling gear ever known - fingers and fingernails. Don't burden them with battery operated gizmos that they'll fumble around with and don't work anyway. So - no handheld fans with feathers, no Dremel-type drills. Feathers are passable (barely). The problem is - when we consumers see a huge reaction by the ticklee from something we know just can't tickle - we know she's faking it. And if she's faking laughter when a rabbit's foot is pulled through her toes, she's probably faking the whole damn video.

3. Coach your models. As a producer of tickling videos, it's a fair assumption that you have some level of a tickle fetish yourself. So - pull your girls aside and give them a 5 minute primer on how to tickle someone. I don't want to single anyone out, but there's a guy out there who I KNOW does this, because all of his models have a similar technique. Or, at least a variation on the same technique. There was a major producer (back in the day) who would actually not hit the pause button when his model was doing something stupid like grabbing the girls foot and shaking it around like a spray paint can, or repeatedly tapping her finger on the ticklee's sternum (ouch). All producers should have this conversation with their models.

OK - that's it. Way too long, but I feel much better. Am I off-base? I'd be interested in hearing comments.

Well lets put it like this, one video company (who shall remain nameless because it will be instantly assumed it is a personal attack) has the most beautiful and ticklish of models, yet insists that nearly every video clip consists of each model strapped to the same table, on her back, either in a bikini or topless. The shame is this used to be one of the most creative of video companies.

In a way I miss the old California Star vids. Although half of the models were faking being ticklish, their cheesy attempts at recreating mainstream or horror movies (such as Alice In Tickleland, Frankentickle, Texas Feathersaw Massacre, Alien Abduction, etc, etc.) were really fun.

Variety guys, that's the word I am looking for, variety.

I agree with all you say.

I agree with everything Horatio said except I think generally men are more ruthless ticklers so I do like to see a guy come in and finished her off so to speak. Although There have been some great female ticklers there hasnt been many, maybe your training idea would help.

I'm interested to hear more people weigh in on this one.

I do often poke my hands into the scene... but just to INTENSIFY the torture, not to be seen... as a matter of fact... it's the "mystery hands" lol...

so except for the few that I do by myself... it's usually with a female tickler and I'll throw my hands in here and there to help.

but interesting you say about coaching. I'm finding more and more that coaching even during the video really helps... we just finished filming the beautiful fetish model Angela Ryan tickling and being tickled... she is really a very submissive girl even though she looks really regal and Dom... so I literally talked her thru the scenes, saying occassional things like... "hmmmm I bet her ribs would be ticklish if you stroked them like this" lol...

It's really a mixed bag though... I know a lot of people that ONLY like to see men tickle women because they can put themselves into their place and also they are often better merciless ticklers (lol... see our newest clip andie and the mystery hands if you want evil!!!). I actually rather see a female myself... but not quite so worried about an occasiona whiff of a male...

let's hear you on this one... always want to know what people think?

As much as I appreciate your comments and expressing your own personal tastes, I am afraid you do not speak for everyone. It's like telling a director that they should only hire blondes. I know many people that hate f/f videos and only want to see cute girls being tickled by a sadistic, experienced male.

Furthermore, many people have told me that they love "toys". If you go to a NEST Gathering and look around you, there are toys being used everywhere. They love seeing what each toy will do.

We all have our own tastes. If you do too much foot tickling, there are complaints that there isn't enough upperbody. The same goes in reverse. i am sure that video producers like to hear your comments and suggestions, but don't speak as a representative of all of us.

I enjoy f/f and m/f. Just because I like m/f doesn't mean I like f/m. That's not my taste. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Sometimes I like toys and sometimes I don't.

A good video producer will have an assortment of things so that everyone is happy. I have a ton of videos in my personal collection but there isn't one that has everything I want. Each one I own has SOMETHING in it I like, but taht's what ff and rev are for. The only ones like that are the ones that I had custom made. Even those get old!

Face it, our particular obsession is the kind that has us seeking new and different models, scenarios all the time. We are insatiable.

Now, I am taking on the task of producing videos. They will NOT be for everyone and some will love it and some won't. Even Spielberg doesn't please everyone all the time. Sometimes you just gotta put it out there and hope somebody likes it.

The important thing is putting it out there.

Thanks for your thread, but keep an open mind and try and appreciate the work and time that goes into these vids. I am sure suggestions are always welcome. However, keep in mind that we all have our own tastes and some may not measure up to yours.

Max :firedevil

Max!! You really are going for it, creating your own videos for us? Awesome!!!

m/f tickling

i totally agree with horatio i to have not bought many tickle clips because of male ticklers in it also i like the idea of producers coaching there models there also needs to be more tickle teasing in these videos sincwe it is a big part of tickjling i love when a female does that to me oh yeah one thought to all you f/m video producers i have not seen one man that has been really ticklish you talk about fake laughing those videos are loaded with it, dont say the guy is super tickish when hes not also m/f tickling no thank you

For me, the presence of a man is no problem, nor is M/f tickling. It is the idea that a second person muscling in on the scene to "help" is going to actually help. To me that is just a turn-off. And the coaching question is , I believe, as you say, often a good idea.

my opinion?
if you have to coach someone on how to tickle then they aren't ever going to be good ticklers. in my humble opinion some people naturally have the knack. some don't. it has a lot to do with the ticklers mind too, not just if they have long fingernails.

I agree on all levels. The one that caters to all styles works best. I like regular tickling involving clothed women, sometimes I like bathing suits or naked, but mostly clothed. I really like tc videos because of the type of girls he uses. Paradise vision is good too, but the whole role play deal doesnt work to well in my opinion. I hate the machines I like fingers myself and feathers too.
