As I never pay attention to football, except to know who the teams are, vaguely, I didnt know that Monday night football had been taken off ABC, and moved to ESPN. For me, this is good news, as I watch the 11pm news on the ABC Philly station, Channel 6, every night, and used to have to wait until 12 to 1am to get my news on Monday night. Now, I can watch it at 11 as I do all the other nights. I am aware that there are many football fans out there, and in this forum, but I for one will not miss football on ABC on Monday night. This happened to me where baseball used to be on ABC on Monday night in the 1980s, and then was taken off. I am one who believes that in the evenings, other programming should be scheduled on national networks, and football should be reserved for Sundays, or for cable.
So, goodbye football on ABC, on Monday night! Woo Hoo! Here is one guy who will not miss such.
