In the media production world, we use the term "Money Shot" to refer to a shot which embodies the whole emotion and sense we're trying to communicate in a production.

While editing my next clip from the Nadia Starr & Brooke tickling series just now, I've come across a money shot and just had to share it with you. This shot is taken right from inside my edit session in Sony Vegas 7 and contains the edit interface. This is some real behind the scenes producer stuff.

Just look at Brooke and Nadia's facial expressions and Nadia's contorted body. Dam!

Nice Shot!

Thanks for taking us behind the scenes. Looks very interesting.

What's with that big 'F'?

Cheers 🙂

The big 'F' is an element of the Crop/Pan/Zoom window. It provides a visual reference of how you've offset the video from it's origin. This is particularly helpful if you need to rotate the video (usually for corrective measures). The 'F' and other visual aides do not render when you output the video.
